As a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in technology companies and social impact organizations, I specialize in solving complex problems, building high-performing teams, and scaling organizations using best practices. My expertise spans technology strategy, engineering leadership, and innovation.

My Background

Currently, I am the CTO at myAgro, a non-profit whose mission is to help 1 million smallholder farmers in Africa by 2025. They help farmers save to invest in their fields and get out of poverty. I have worked with myAgro as a technology advisor since its founding in 2012.

Previously, I was the VP of Engineering at Seegrid, a vision guided robotics company. I also worked here as part of the early R&D team.

Before that, I was the CTO at Wellbridge Health, a healthcare technology and services company focused on improving at-home health and reducing hospital readmissions for patients with chronic illnesses like CHF (congestive heart failure).

Previously, I was the VP of Product Development at Touchtown, a healthcare software company that builds life safety and communication products for senior living.

Before that, I spent 1 year in rural Kenya working for One Acre Fund, an international NGO whose mission is to help poor farmers grow more food through financing, bulk buys, training, and market access. I improved their computer systems and infrastructure to help scale from 1,500 to 8,000 farmers served (they are now serving over 600,000 farmers!).

I also worked at CMU in the Mobile Robot Lab, building a plan for commercialization of Hans Moravec's 30 years of computer vision research.

That work spun off into Seegrid. I was one of the first 5 employees, and a key part of the initial architecture and implementation. Later I built and managed the engineering team and product development efforts, and I returned there in 2015 as VP of Engineering.

I also worked at CareFlow|Net for 4 years. We were acquired by Philips (MedQuist) in 2003, now part of MModal.

I have a BS in Computer Science from WVU and a MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
